Korra Obidi (born June 23, 1994) is a Nigerian musician, professional dancer, model, and actress from Delta State, Nigeria who is Currently living in Los Angeles, California.

Korra is an amazing and talented artist who is most well known for her appearance on Season 16, ep. 2 of Fox TV’s ‘So You Think You Can Dance?’ where she was most likely the first contestant to ever compete pregnant. But her accomplishments do not end there.

In 2016, Korra performed as the only black act representing women of color alongside Wallid Atallah at the ladies A’la mode Muscat Oman, and the Burj Al Arab Dubai.

As an independent artist, she toured with the African basketball league in 2017/18 to several African countries including Côte D’Ivoire to mention a few, after making her first national appearance on MTV BASE with her debut single, ‘Man Like You’. In October 2015, Korra Obidi was also nominated as Africa’s best Dancer at the AFRIMMA AWARDS CEREMONY 2017.

As a dancer she has trained Bellydance in Cairo, as well as Indian classical Odissi in Lagos under the tutelage of Priti Mastakar and has performed Odissi on several occasions under the guardianship of Guruji Priti Mastakar.

She is also vastly trained in Latin Ballroom, rumba, samba, chacha and Salsa from the Body Language company, Lagos.

Currently in Los Angeles, she has trained Funk Jazz at the Millennium Dance Complex under the Tutelage of Blake McGrath.

Some of her modeling achievements include being crowned Miss Radiography 2009, Miss Moremi 2010, and Miss Congeniality 2014 while appearing on runways during Fashion Week GTB FASHION SERIES, NATIVE AND VOGUE FASHION WEEK PH and also landing high-profile features, such as having been the Lead Model of the Black Eyed peas Music Video “Wings”.
